My first computer was a 386 built from discarded parts. Building and troubleshooting hardware led to a job in PC sales. This shifted to service desk, and then to field technical work. My role evolved from technician to administrator to advisor.
Professionally, I am disciplined and brief of word. I dress for the task at hand, and my tools are always ready. I am on time, and am courteous to a fault. Every project has a forward-moving direction, and I intend on keeping it that way.
My goals are to focus on value, and to encourage improvement in everyone — including myself — at every turn.
Personally, My hobbies are amateur astronomy, amateur radio, cycling, and hiking. My wife is a fitness and lifestyle coach, and she can pick me up and throw me across the room. All our children are awesome in many ways.
